‘마사지 천국’으로 불리는 태국에 한국 세라젬이 진출했다.

이미 전세계 수십개국에 진출해 있는 세라젬은 온열 기능으로 특화된 척추 마사지기. 태국에 수입할 때는 의료기기로 분류된다.

한국인이라면 거의 다 아는 한국 동종브랜드 1위인데 살펴보면 기업정신도 퍽 좋다.

세라젬은 15년전 쯤 태국에 진출해 좋은 반응을 일으키던 중 철수한 경험이 있다. 

세라젬은 태국 한태교류센터 KTCC를 통해 

한국의 우수제품임을 입증하는 각종 자료의 제출과 적확한 과정을 거쳐 마침내 수입허가를 받아냈다.

단단히 막힌 길을 결국 뚫는 과정은 쉽지도 않았고 오래 걸렸다.

그리고 해외판매에 상당한 노하우가 있는 타국의 법인장들이 태국 판매법인 운영에 나섰고, 몇개월전에는 KTCC 방콕법인을 통해 1차 수입이 무난히 이뤄졌다. 

지난 11월 한국에 잠깐 들렀을 때는 내 오랜 벗이  세라젬 창업자와 가까운 사이인 것도 알게 됐다.  잠시 인사도 나눴지만, 이렇듯 세상이 참 좁다.

오늘 방콕 매장에 잠깐 들렸더니 적지 않은 태국인들이 강의를 듣고 박수를 쳤으며, 무료체험을 하고 있었다.

늘 같은 생각이지만 태국 소비자들의 안목이 매우 높다. 태국에서 인정받고 동남아 및 글로벌 제품이 되는 경우를 허다하게 봤다.

The Korean company Ceragem has entered Thailand, known as the 'Massage Paradise.' 

Ceragem, already established in dozens of countries worldwide, specializes in a spine massager with a focus on thermal functionality. 

When imported into Thailand, it is classified as a medical device.

As the leading Korean brand in its category, Ceragem not only enjoys widespread recognition but also demonstrates strong corporate ethics upon closer inspection. 

About 15 years ago, Ceragem initially entered Thailand and received positive responses but later withdrew from the market.

To re-enter the Thai market, Ceragem had to provide to the Thai FDA of its product's excellence, various supporting documents.

After a challenging and lengthy process, they finally obtained the import permit.

The Korea-Thailand Communication Center (KTCC) played a crucial role in overcoming obstacles in the process.

The expertise of foreign subsidiaries experienced in overseas sales, the Thai sales company was established, and a smooth first round of imports took place a few months ago.

During a brief visit to Korea last month, I learned that the founder of Ceragem is an old friend of mine. 

Although we exchanged greetings briefly, it reminded me of how small the world can be.

Upon a short visit to the Bangkok store today, I observed a significant number of Thais attending lectures and applauding, participating in free trials. 

It is a recurring thought, but Thai consumers have a discerning eye.

I have witnessed numerous instances where products gain recognition in Thailand and subsequently become popular in Southeast Asia and globally.

I hope to see that Korea's technological prowess in the 'Land of Massage,' Thailand, will achieve new milestones in the coming year. 

บริษัท Ceragem ของเกาหลีได้เข้ามาในประเทศไทยแล้ว หรือที่รู้จักกันดีในชื่อของ 'Massage Paradise'

Ceragem ได้ก่อตั้งมาแล้วในหลายสิบประเทศทั่วโลก และเชี่ยวชาญด้านของเครื่องนวดกระดูกสันหลังที่มีฟังก์ชันการใช้ความร้อนช่วยนวด และเมื่อนำเข้ามาในไทย จึงถูกจัดอยู่ในผลิตภัณฑ์ประเภทเครื่องมือแพทย์

ในฐานะที่เป็นแบรนด์เกาหลีชั้นนำในด้านนี้ Ceragem ไม่เพียงแต่ได้รับการยอมรับอย่างกว้างขวางเท่านั้น แต่ยังแสดงให้เห็นถึงจริยธรรมองค์กรที่แข็งแกร่ง และยังได้รับการตรวจสอบเป็นอย่างดีอีกด้วย

เมื่อประมาณ 15 ปีที่แล้ว Ceragem ได้เข้ามาในประเทศไทยเป็นครั้งแรกและได้รับผลตอบรับที่ดีเป็นอย่างมาก แต่ต่อมาก็ได้มีการถอนตัวออกจากตลาดไป

การกลับเข้าสู่ตลาดในประเทศไทยครั้งนี้ Ceragem ต้องยื่นเอกสารประกอบต่างๆ ที่ยืนยันว่าผลิตภัณฑ์นี้ดีเยี่ยมต่อสำนักงานคณะกรรมการอาหารและยาของประเทศไทย

หลังจากผ่านกระบวนการที่ท้าทายและยาวนาน ในที่สุดพวกเขาก็ได้รับใบอนุญาตในการนำเข้าผลิตภัณฑ์นี้

ในระหว่างที่ได้ไปเกาหลีช่วงสั้นๆ เมื่อเดือนที่แล้ว ผมจึงได้รู้ว่าผู้ก่อตั้ง Ceragem เป็นเพื่อนเก่าของฉัน

แม้ว่าเราจะทักทายกันเพียงสั้นๆ แต่ก็ทำให้ผมนึกได้ว่าโลกนี้มันเล็กขนาดไหน

วันนี้เมื่อผมได้ไปเยี่ยมชมร้านในกรุงเทพฯ เป็นเวลาไม่นานนัก ผมก็สังเกตเห็นคนไทยจำนวนมากเข้าร่วมฟังการบรรยายและปรบมือให้และเข้าร่วมกันทดลองใช้งานผลิตภัณฑ์ฟรี

เป็นความคิดที่เกิดขึ้นซ้ำๆ แต่ผู้บริโภคชาวไทยกลับมีสายตาที่เฉียบแหลม ผมมีโอกาสได้เห็นหลายครั้งที่ผลิตภัณฑ์ได้รับการยอมรับในประเทศไทย และต่อมาก็ได้รับความนิยมในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้และทั่วโลก

ผมหวังว่าจะได้เห็นว่าความกล้าหาญทางเทคโนโลยีของเกาหลีใน 'ดินแดนแห่งการนวด' และในประเทศไทย รวมทั้งบรรลุเป้าหมายใหม่ในปีที่จะมาถึงนี้  (โดย Harry)
